The sweeping update touches on everything from print quality to UI to MakerWorld integration, with 80-plus updates, improvements, tweaks, and bug fixes.
Bambu Lab has released a sweeping update for Bambu Studio, with more than 80 updates, improvements, and bug fixes that work to boost print quality, streamline print processes, and more.
Headlining Bambu Studio 1.9.1 is native integration of MakerWorld, Bambu Lab’s model repository, allowing users to directly browse, search for, and download models from within Bambu Studio itself.
Another major new feature gives users the ability to send print instructions to multiple devices at once, with customizable settings and compatibility with external filament spools and Bambu Lab’s AMS.
Meanwhile, several features help users create higher-quality and more precise prints. An imported Orca Slicer feature serves to make scarf seams less visible and more effective. There’s also a new tool in multicolor preparation to make drawing straight lines easier. A “Measure” function first developed by PrusaSlicer has been ported over and “enhanced” by providing users with a method to measure across multiple models.
Additional improvements include better supports for sharp tail overhangs, smoother speed transitions while printing regular overhangs, a “precise Z height” function, and new UI tweaks and notifications.
Diving fully into the nitty-gritty of Bambu Studio 1.9.1 is going to require a free hour and a cup of coffee, although it does seem that there is truly something here for everyone in terms of update target areas. When you’re ready, head over to the full release notes to get started.
